The design idea was, to develop an overall concept which allowed for a gradual realization based on economic aspects and which includes the existing building for an interim solution.

The candidate solution is a two storey building complex which consists of three mansion-like units: an operational building and a "connection". Both forward mansions house the group areas for the day nursery while the central unit contains the "movement space". The "connection" represents the flexible back bone which links the individual functions.

The sustainability of the concept is emphasised by the further utilisation of the dismantled cubicles at sports fields for resident sports clubs.
